Junior Field Engineer - Peru

As a Junior Field Engineer in Peru, you’ll support Engineers in Action’s growing Peru program by helping coordinate and construct community-driven infrastructure projects such as pedestrian bridges, drinking water systems, and sanitation interventions. You’ll work alongside rural communities, local partners, and international volunteers to support projects from planning through construction, helping expand access to safe and reliable infrastructure. The role includes an initial training period on projects in Bolivia, including work in La Paz, Cochabamba, and remote rural communities. After training, you will support projects in Peru and Bolivia. This position involves extended travel to rural areas, collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and adapting to remote field conditions while helping deliver infrastructure that improves health, education, and opportunity.

Bridge Program Fellow

As a Bridge Program Fellow, you’ll spend 6-12+ months supporting one of our global offices (Bolivia, Eswatini, Peru) to carry out the EIA mission. Fellows play a vital role in endeavors such as working alongside communities, coordinating with local governments, mentoring student and professional volunteers, and providing technical and logistical support from design through construction. It’s a unique opportunity to grow as an engineer and leader while helping ensure safe, year-round access to education, healthcare, and opportunity.

As a WASH Program Fellow, you’ll spend 6–12+ months supporting one of our global offices (Bolivia, Ecuador, Eswatini) to carry out the EIA mission. Fellows play a vital role in endeavors such as engaging with communities, coordinating with local governments, mentoring student and professional volunteers, and providing technical and logistical support from planning through implementation.
